Membership is available exclusively by invitation, either through referral by a current member or by being recognised as a standout salon in the industry. Exceptional salons identified as tastemakers may also be scouted and invited directly by our Membership Committee.

While the traditional path is nomination or scouting, you’re always welcome to express your interest directly. Here!

Our Membership Committee seeks out salons that are shaping trends, raising standards, and making a visible impact in the industry. If your salon is recognised as a tastemaker, you may receive a personal invitation.

Eligibility

• Licensed, qualified salon or barbershop owners of Australia
• School or academy, a manufacturer, a distributor, an industry-specific association, or a specialty industry vendor/partner.

Renewal and incentive
Memberships expire on December 31. Renewals paid before January 30 receive an 8% discount.

Levels and costs
Full Member
For salon owners who are qualified hairdressers with at least 50% ownership. Full Members carry the highest recognition and enjoy all rights, benefits, and voting privileges within Intercoiffure.
$1500 per annum

Associate Member
For partners within the same salon business. Associate Members share in the benefits of membership, including access to education, events, and the international network, without carrying separate voting rights.
$740 per annum

Affiliate Interbeaute Member
For aligned industry professionals such as educators, suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, or associated specialists. Affiliate Interbeaute Members are recognised as valued partners who contribute to the craft and community of hairdressing.
$550 per annum

Guillaume Creative Board Team Member
For experienced hairdressers who have represented Australia on stage with the International Guillaume Team, contributing creative direction and artistic leadership within the Intercoiffure network.
$250 per annum

Guillaume Emerging Stylists Team Member (CAT)
For stylists working in Intercoiffure salons who want to take their career to the next level. This program (CAT) launched in WA, offers emerging talent the chance to train and present on stage alongside the Guillaume Team, with plans to expand nationally as membership grows.
$100 per annum

Life Member
Reserved for long-serving and honoured members who have made a distinguished contribution to Intercoiffure. Life Members retain recognition and connection within the global circle of excellence.

We meet and connect. You’ll be invited to a one-on-one Zoom or in-person conversation with our membership team. It’s not about whether you “fit us,” but about how we can add value to your salon by helping you grow, develop talent, and connect internationally.

Who decides and how
All nominations and scout invitations are reviewed by our peer-led Membership Council. We first consider how membership can support your salon, team, and business to achieve greater success. We then ensure alignment with our standards of excellence, values, innovation, and leadership.

After approval
Once accepted, you’ll be welcomed through a formal induction process. We’ll meet to learn more about your salon, your team, and your career goals, and bring you into the loop on upcoming events. You’ll also discover how both existing members and sponsors can add value to your business.
